Samsung India has quietly announced the Galaxy J2 2016, which is the first phone to feature the new Smart Glow Notification Ring. Users can choose their own colors for the Smart Glow, but the alert criterion as of now are limited. The Smart Glow Ring can also be used to aid selfies as part of the Selfie Assist feature.
